The final presentation or completed project is only one part of the learning.

𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲:
🟡Asking questions.
🟡Sorting through ideas.
🟡Trying different materials.
🟡Checking their work.
🟡Making corrections.

We have seen this process during art activities, hands-on math, geometry lessons, ELA projects, STEM work, and group challenges.

These ordinary classroom moments matter because this is where students practice focus, patience, communication, problem-solving, and follow-through.

Learn To Thrive uses flexible instruction, small learning groups, and hands-on experiences to help students participate in ways that match their needs and current skill levels.

We do not only celebrate the finished work. We pay attention to the effort, decisions, and progress that helped the student complete it.

We officially wrapped up our first week of school at Learn To Thrive Academy, and what a great week it was!

Our students came back excited, energized, and ready to learn! The week was filled with catching up with old friends, making new connections, learning routines and procedures, an best of all, having FUN as we settled back into the rhythm of school.

We’re off to an amazing start and looking forward to a year filled with learning, growing, connecting, and THRIVING!

Those words describe many of the enrichment experiences students have at Learn To Thrive.

They prepare food, practice household responsibilities, create art, complete obstacle courses, compete in video games, work together in team challenges, and enjoy hands on experiences during field trips.

Our students have already experienced hands-on geometry and problem-solving activities. As they grow, those same habits-testing ideas, checking their work, and explaining their reasoning-can support financial literacy, career exploration, and other practical applications.

Learn To Thrive’s program includes core academics alongside life skills, financial literacy, career exploration, project-based learning, and real-world experiences.

We want high school students to understand the lesson and recognize when they may need to use it outside school.

Projects and presentations allow middle school students to practice reading, writing, comprehension, communication, listening, and public speaking in one connected experience. They also learn how to prepare, respond to questions, and complete a task with greater independence.

At Learn To Thrive, core subjects are supported through small-group and individualized instruction, while science, social studies, and enrichment topics may include hands-on, interest-guided, and project-based learning.

We give students another way to work through the math.

Our elementary learners have explored numbers, patterns, shapes, geometry, and place value by moving pieces, building models, and testing different ideas.

The First Day of School Is in the Books!

What an amazing way to kick off a brand-new school year at Learn To Thrive Academy!

Our students walked through the doors excited, smiling, and ready for the day! Our returning students enjoyed catching up with friends, while our new students quickly began making connections and finding their place in our THRIVE community.

Our Learn To Thrive team jumped right in—building relationships, creating meaningful experiences, and making sure our students felt welcomed, supported, and excited about the year ahead.

Today was about more than just getting back to school. It was about reconnecting, building community, creating a sense of belonging, and setting the tone for an incredible year ahead.
