Well y’all, we’ve come to the end of this little journey together. Over the last seven days, we’ve talked about what it looks like to move from where you are to where you know God is calling you to be.
It isn’t always a straight line, and it’s rarely easy. There are mornings when that calling feels more like a heavy weight than a holy invitation, and the temptation to just stay comfortable is real. But there is a specific kind of peace: a deep-down, soul-level quiet: that only comes when you stop running from your purpose and start walking toward it.
If you’re feeling that tug on your heart to step into your next phase, don’t ignore it. I’ve put together a 3-Step Guide to Deepening Your Faith specifically to help you bridge that gap and recover your voice and identity in Him.
You can download it right now at coachtonymartin.com. Let’s stop settling for "good enough" and start pursuing the life He’s already prepared for us. It’s time to move.

I used to think I could muscle through everything on my own. Just me, my Bible, and enough coffee to power a small city. I figured if I just worked harder or prayed longer, I’d figure it all out.
But here’s the truth I had to learn the hard way: God never designed us to be lone rangers.
Look at Scripture. Even the giants of faith had a circle. Paul had Barnabas. Moses had Aaron to hold up his arms when he got weary. We were built for relationship and, frankly, we need each other to stay on track.
Sometimes we get stuck because we’re just too close to our own mess to see the way out. That’s where biblical community and coaching come in. It’s about having someone who can see the blind spots you can't, pray with you when the road gets steep, and remind you of who God says you are when you’ve flat-out forgotten.
You weren't meant to carry the weight of your calling by yourself. There’s power in having a brother walk alongside you.
If you’re tired of spinning your wheels alone, let’s change that. My 3-Step Guide is designed to help you find that initial clarity. You can find it at coachtonymartin.com.

Ever notice how the moment you finally say "yes" to where God’s calling you, the wind starts blowing a little harder?
It’s one of those dry ironies of the spiritual life. You get your heart right, you commit to that next step, and suddenly fear shows up at your door like an uninvited guest. You start questioning if you heard Him right or if you’ve got what it takes.
But here’s some common-sense encouragement for y'all: Resistance usually isn't a sign that you’re lost. More often than not, it’s a sign that you’re finally heading in the right direction. If you weren’t moving toward something meaningful, the enemy wouldn’t bother trying to trip you up.
Don't let the fear of the next step rob you of the peace God already promised. Take the step, even if your hands are shaking. He’s already in the future waiting for you.

You ever feel like your engine is revving but you’re stuck in the mud?
That internal friction is usually a signal, y'all. It’s the sound of a heart out of alignment with its Maker. For years, I tried to force my way into doors God hadn't opened, wondering why I felt so bone-tired and restless even when I was "busy" for the Kingdom.
But here’s the thing about alignment: peace isn't the absence of trouble; it's the presence of God's "yes" in your soul. When you stop fighting the current and start stepping into the lane He’s marked for you, the chaos around you might not stop, but the noise inside your head finally does.
You start serving from a place of purpose instead of a place of panic. That’s where the recovery of your true identity begins. If you’re tired of the disconnect, it might be time to pull over, grab a cup of coffee, and ask: "Lord, where am I out of step?"
If you're ready to find that peace, my 3-Step Guide to Deepening Your Faith is a great place to start. Check the link in my bio.

I was sitting on the porch this morning with a cup of coffee, just watching the sun crawl over the horizon. It’s a quiet time, usually before the rest of the world starts demanding things from me.
I’ve spent plenty of days acting like my worth was tied to how many items I crossed off my to-do list. I think a lot of us red-blooded folks fall into that trap. We look in the mirror and see a title, a paycheck, or: on the harder days: a list of things we’ve messed up.
But that’s not how the Father sees you.
This is Part 3 of our look at moving toward divine purpose, and it’s arguably the most important: Recovering your identity.
You can’t walk into the future God has for you if you’re still wearing the labels the world stuck on your back. You aren't your past, and you aren't your productivity. You are exactly who He says you are.
It takes a bit of work to strip away the noise and listen to His voice, but it’s the only foundation that holds.
Take a second today to breathe and remember whose you are.

Ever get that nagging feeling in your gut that you’re just... off?
You’re checking the boxes, y'all. You’re doing the work, showing up for the family, and maybe even leading a Bible study. But deep down, there’s a gap. It’s like a radio station that’s almost tuned in, but there’s still that fuzzy static keeping the music from coming through clear.
That’s the disconnect. It’s the space between the life you’re living and the one you know God has written for you.
Confronting it is uncomfortable. It’s easier to buy a new gadget or scroll a little longer to ignore that quiet ache. But that ache is actually a gift. It’s the Holy Spirit nudging you, telling you that there is more: not necessarily more "stuff," but more purpose, more peace, and more of who He made you to be.
Stop trying to fill the gap with busy-ness. Today, just sit with it for a minute. Ask the Lord, "Where am I out of alignment with Your heart for me?" You can’t move toward your purpose until you admit where you’re currently standing.
We're diving deep into this over the next week. Stay with me.

Ever feel like "self-improvement" is a bit of a hollow word? Like you’re just trying to polish the outside of a cup while the inside is still a mess?
Y'all, I’ve been there. Coffee in hand, staring at the wall, wondering if I'm actually getting anywhere or just spinning my wheels.
Starting today, we're kicking off a 7-day series: The Ultimate Guide to Christian Personal Development. But let’s get one thing straight: this isn’t about "finding yourself." It’s about being found by Him and growing into the person He already designed you to be. It’s moving from where you are to where God is calling you.
This journey isn't just about better habits; it’s about a deeper heart. Over the next week, we’re going to walk through what it looks like to move toward your divine purpose.
Join me for Part 1: Defining the Journey. It starts with a simple surrender.
Who’s ready to walk this out with me?

When the ground beneath your feet feels like nothing but dust, a 'dry season' can start to feel more like a permanent desert.
We call it a "dry season," but let’s be real: it's more like a desert. And the hardest part isn’t just the silence from Heaven; it’s the feeling that you’ve got to trek across those dunes all by yourself.
Here’s a bit of hard-earned truth: God never intended for you to navigate the wilderness alone. In the Bible, even the strongest leaders had someone walking beside them, helping them find the next well.
If you’re feeling spiritually parched, don’t try to "muscle through" solo. Reconnecting with God often starts with letting someone else hold the map for a minute. That’s exactly what I do as a coach. I’m not here to tell you where to go, but to walk alongside you, help you spot the oasis, and remind you that the desert doesn’t last forever.
You don’t have to stay stuck in the dryness. Let’s find the path back to peace together.

Y'all ever have those mornings where the Bible feels less like a love letter and more like a heavy textbook you forgot to study for? I know I have. Spiritual dryness isn't a sign you've lost your way; it's just a season where the ground feels a bit hard.
When my soul feels parched, I've learned to stop trying to drink from a firehose. You don't need a deep theological dive or three chapters of reading to find Him today. Honestly, God is just as present in one single verse whispered over a morning cup of coffee as He is in a three-point sermon.
Just one verse. No pressure. No checklist. Maybe it’s Psalm 23 or just a reminder that He’s with you in the valley. Don’t worry about the marathon; just take one small, gentle step toward His Word. He’s right there in the quiet, waiting to meet you exactly where you are.
What’s one verse that’s been a little bit of water for your soul lately?

Do you ever feel like God is there, but emotionally, it's like He’s on the other side of a thick pane of glass?
We’ve all been there. The dry seasons. The times when you can see the life you’re 'supposed' to be living, but you just can't touch it.
Usually, our first instinct is to try harder. We read more, we pray louder, or we try to 'clean up' our mess before talking to Him. But here’s a secret: God isn't looking for your 'Sunday best' performance. He wants your reality.
The quickest way back to intimacy is honesty. Tell Him, 'Lord, I don’t feel You right now.' Tell Him you’re frustrated or bored or tired. He’s the one who handles the mess, so why wait until it’s tidy?
If you’re feeling that disconnect today, don’t beat yourself up. Reconnection isn't about working harder; it’s about dropping the act.
I’ve put together a 3-Step Guide to Deepening Your Faith specifically for these moments. It’s designed to help you recover your peace and hear His voice again. Grab it at the link in my bio.
Y'all aren't alone in this.
