Don’t forget about the Student Government Community Tailgate!

MEADE COUNTY COMMUNITY TAILGATE! 🏈💚✨

On Friday October 16th, Meade County High School Student Government will be presenting a brand new community initiative! We invite all families, community members, and students to join us in the College and Career Center (MC4) parking lot for an evening celebrating Meade County football and the people that make the place.

In collaboration with some AMAZING vendors, Kindled Flame Coffee, Lemme Get a Bite, Chill Out Back Porch Fixin’s and Bussin Bite’s we are aiming to create a fun filled environment to say a farewell to the 2026 Football Season and celebrate SENIOR NIGHT! 💚

Everything opens at 5:00 PM and wraps up around kickoff! Feel free to bring a portable chair and stay a while. We will have games, face painting, swag, and music in addition to food and drinks. Admittance is donation based and lasts for the entirety of the event (feel free to come and go 😉).

This is a fundraiser for our Student Government and Parent Teacher Student Org. to support school initiatives! All funds raised by your donations go straight to our students and staff 🫶

Attention senior parents! MCHS will be hosting a FAFSA night for seniors attending college next year. There will be experts on site to help you and your student complete the FAFSA. Remember, most colleges require this application, and the sooner you complete it, the better, as funds can run out. Create an FSA ID ahead of time to expedite the application process at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch, OR bring your Social Security number with you that night. Stop in at the Meade County College and Career Center anytime between 3:30 and 6:30 pm on October 13th.

As we get ready to cheer on our Greenwaves this fall, please remember the following notes to help make Meade County High School athletic events run as smoothly as possible:

𝗢𝗻-𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀
Our parking lots have changed with our construction project. Please see the Game Day Parking Map for an overview of our parking lots and entry locations. Please note that no parking will be available in the construction areas or at the bus garage.

𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗙𝗮𝗻
All athletic events will continue to use GoFan for ticket purchases. Cash will not be accepted at the gate. Credit or debit cards can be used at entry, or you can purchase tickets in advance through the GoFan app or website. All tickets are $10.

𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆
All students in 8th grade or younger must be accompanied by an adult to enter any athletic event. Students in this age group without an adult will be turned away at the gate.
