We have had such a fun summer! ☀️ Nanny Goose enjoyed water day and even going to the fair! But, we’ve noticed that when we lock up at the end of the day, she seems sad that her friends have went home. At Rising Star Kids, we want everyone to feel included.

☀️ Only 15 days of summer break remaining! ☀️

As we prepare for the school year, I am finalizing our before and after school schedules, preparing for classroom transitions and making some fun plans!

Please let me know which of the following applies to you:

🟢 You WILL need before and/or after school care for your child.

Or

🔵 You will NOT need school-age care because:

• Your child attends a school outside of the Brandenburg School District,

or

• Your child will not need before or after school care this school year.

I will let everyone know the bus schedule as soon as I get it.

Water Day Bash complete! We really enjoyed our day! It took so many layers of sunscreen, even more popsicles and even some snow cones!

A huge thank you to Mr. Mike for bringing the train cars, being the conductor and cooking the best hotdogs! Thank you to Mrs. Teresa for coming as extra help! The kids enjoyed it so much!

Thank you Thunder Jump Inflatables for great service!

Time to start planning the next adventure!

-Please bring your child in with swimwear, sunscreen and a towel.

-Make sure every thing is labeled in a bag.

-We have a sunscreen permission slip for each parent/ guardian to sign to ensure we have our fun safely.

❤️ Fourth Of July Water Day Bash 🤍

We will having our water day bash on July 1st! (Next Wednesday) We plan to get started around 9 AM and make the most of the day. (Weather permitting)

We are asking that you bring your child swim wear (you can bring them in wearing it) and with sunscreen on. We will have a permission slip to be able to reapply sunscreen throughout the day as needed. Your child will also need a towel. Please label everything!

Unless you ask us otherwise, please plan to pick your child up wet & tired! We plan to make an entire day of this! Mr. Mike will be cooking lunch and bringing the train cars. Mrs. Teresa will be there as extra help! We are SO excited!

Reminder: We will closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day!

Nanny Goose is excited. 🤪 A huge thank you to Ms. Emma’s dad (JW) for finding us a porch goose, getting it ordered, painted & delivered. She brings so many giggles and smiles to the children and staff!

We are aiming for a big summer water day bash on July 1st if the weather cooperates! More details to come. 😊

I can’t believe May is coming to a close! It’s been fun! I can’t wait to see what June brings. ☀️

Just a couple of reminders:

- We will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independance Day. 🇺🇸

- Tuition is due by the close of business on Monday. Late fees will be enforced. ‼️

- There is a permission slip for a hermit crab tank that we are asking each parent to sign so we can have a “crabitat” for the children to observe. If we’ve not asked you to sign yet, please remind us. 🦀

-The Meade County School District offers a summer feeding program for all kids under 18. You sign up each week, and pick it up at your chosen school on Wednesdays. (It’s a drive thru.) They provide healthy meals and snacks for your child for that week. Your child will love it! 🥪

-A huge thank you to the parents who sent in treats for the teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week!

Derby Day tomorrow. Beehives will have Derby racing in their parking lot tomorrow while the kids watch and cheer them on.
Make sure they have a jacket in case it’s chilly!

Also, tomorrow will be my last day of owning Rising Star Kids as Jess will be taking over as the new owner. Thank you to all for making everything so easy and allowing me to love on your kiddos for over 6 years! 💕 Please make sure you have Jess’s # in case you need anything in the future.
