Due to road conditions in some areas, all Branchburg and Somerville Public Schools will operate on a 2 hour delayed opening schedule on Tuesday, February 24.

Please expect buses to pick up students 2 hours later than normal. There will be no Jointure Before Care and no before school activities.

All Branchburg and Somerville Public Schools will be closed on Monday, February 23, due to the impending storm. All before and after school activities and clubs will also be cancelled.

We will communicate any additional information regarding Tuesday if needed.

Stony Brook - Single Session Day - All after school activities are cancelled.

BCMS - No changes to schedule - After school activities will happen.

Whiton - No changes to schedule - After school activities will happen.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As a follow-up to our earlier message, due to the temporary closure of SBS, Stony Brook students will be operating on a single session schedule and will be dismissed at 12:40pm from Branchburg Central Middle School. Staff will be at BCMS and your student will be able to stay at BCMS for the whole school day if needed.

All students who did not bring their lunch will be offered lunch from the cafeteria at BCMS.

Students who are regularly bused to/from school will be dropped off at their regular bus stop at the single session schedule. If parents are not able to receive their students from the bus stop, please email [email protected] with instructions.

Students who are walkers will not be able to walk home from BCMS. Please email [email protected] with instructions for their pickup.

Students who receive after care from Jointure will remain at BCMS under the care of Jointure and can be picked up as usual this evening at BCMS.

We will update you with any further information as it becomes available.
