THE SEMI FORMAL: will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Lombardo's in Randolph from 7:30 p.m. –11:00 p.m. Tickets must be purchased using the link below by Friday, November 22 at 12:00 p.m. All students must arrive at Lombardo's by 8:15 p.m. and may not leave before 10:30 p.m. Please direct questions to Ms. Gately.

Does anyone know if a class supply list was provided somewhere? I can’t find one when I look... shocking I know. 😂

Thought this was a great way to get some extra points. My older daughters class won winter wars her Freshman year it was a big upset 😂

Please consider bringing in school supplies for Project Esperanza school children. The Dominican Republic service trip works with the children at this school. A trip to the Dollar Store to pick up a few items would be greatly appreciated and will win your class some points. Items needed are:

· composition notebooks

· pencils and pencil sharpeners

· white chalk

· board erasers

· crayons & markers

· drawing paper/construction paper

Monday, October 15: Late Opening at 9:15am for Middle and Upper Schools

On Monday, October 15, classes in both the Middle and Upper Schools will start at 9:15am in order to accommodate faculty professional development activities and curricular discussions. Students can arrive by this later start time or as early as 7:30am. Thayer will provide supervision for students who are dropped off at campus at 7:30am.

Shuttle vans from the "T" stop will run according to the normal schedule, and additional trips will run every 15 minutes from 8 to 9am. IMPORTANT: The school bus schedules will run on a ONE HOUR DELAY. Early arriving Middle School students should go to Thompson Hall; Upper School students should proceed to the Student Commons in Cahall.

This procedure will be repeated on April 11. We apologize if this creates any inconvenience, but we are confident that this teacher deliberation time will yield valuable results in the classroom experience of your students.

SPIRIT WEEK is next week! In preparation for Homecoming 2018, the Community Council is sponsoring Spirit Week. Join the fun and get excited for Homecoming 2018!!

Couple of Reminders:

Dress Down Day is Tuesday, September 11th. To remember the events of September 11, 2001 and to raise funds for The Jeffrey Coombs Memorial Foundation. Jeff Coombs was killed on Flight 11 in the terrorist attacks. Jeff's daughter, Julia Coombs, is a Thayer alum. Please pass along donations of $1 (or more) to advisor during homeroom.

UPPER SCHOOL PICTURE DAY IS: taking place Monday, Sept. 17. This is not an optional event. All students, faculty and staff should sit for a photo for the Yearbook.
Grades 9-11, yearbook pictures are being taken in the courtyard between Cahall and the Main Building between 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. If there are questions or concerns, please see Ms. Blanco in the Yearbook Office.

ATHLETICS APPAREL FOR FALL 2018: All Fall sport specific team clothing stores will be open on the Team Pages for online purchases until September 13th. Visit your team page to view the specific team store. **All purchases are completely optional**
