Congratulations to Gianna Quatromoni, Class of 2022, on being selected for a prestigious Fulbright English Teaching Assistant grant!

A recent graduate of Clemson University, Gianna will spend the upcoming year in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where she will teach English, serve as a cultural ambassador, and foster cross-cultural connections through education.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program recognizes outstanding students for their academic achievement, leadership potential, and commitment to community engagement.

From serving as a two-year captain of Girls Varsity Basketball, a three-year captain of Girls Varsity Track & Field, and leading student organizations like Girls Learning Advanced Math and Coding Club, Cassidy Mullin ’26 has embraced every opportunity to lead, learn, and make an impact at Thayer. A small layover in Dublin turned into an unexpected cultural exchange for our group returning from the Balkans. The flight was filled with members of Scotland’s “Tartan Army,” traveling to support their team in the World Cup — and they brought plenty of energy (and generosity) along with them.

Between songs and stories, they shared traditions behind the Scottish kilt and even invited any brave Thayer students to try one on. A memorable moment of connection, humor, and hospitality at 30,000 feet.

Nearly 50 Thayer alumni gathered Tuesday evening at Cisco Brewers Seaport for a summer social, reconnecting with classmates, faculty, and staff while enjoying a beautiful night on the Boston waterfront. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success.
