🎉 OUR GEODOME IS COMPLETE! 🎉
A few of our Summer Preschoolers (and Ms. Kori) were able to put it to the test on their FINAL day of Summer Preschool!

We are SO excited to officially say that the final phase of our new GeoDome is finished! And while we were at it, our swing area got a little refresh too, with brand-new woodchips!

The playground is looking better than ever, and we cannot wait to see it filled with our students again in just a little over TWO WEEKS! The countdown to a brand-new school year is officially ON!

🚨 PLAYGROUND UPDATE! 🚨

LOOK WHAT’S UP!

Our GeoDome is officially standing! 🎉 After so much planning, fundraising, site prep, hard work, and patience, it is SO exciting to finally see this part of our new playground coming together!

There is still work to be done, but every step gets us closer to giving our Discovery Woods students an incredible new space to climb, explore, play, and learn outdoors. 🌿💚

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated, volunteered, shared our fundraiser, and supported this project along the way. We truly could not do this without our amazing DWS community! Even a bigger shout out to all of the volunteers who have made this happen!

We're so excited to share that the Brainerd Dispatch featured our playground project!

Our school community has been working hard to make this dream a reality, and while we've made incredible progress, there's still work to do. This playground will provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive space where our students can learn, explore, and create lasting memories for years to come.

A big THANK YOU to Nisswa Sanitation for stopping by Discovery Woods Preschool!
Our preschoolers had an amazing time learning about the important role sanitation workers play in keeping our communities clean. They were so excited to see the truck up close, ask questions, and watch a garbage can get lifted and dumped into the truck! The smiles (and excitement) said it all!

What an amazing experience representing Discovery Woods School in our very first 4th of July Parade! ❤️🤍💙

From our mascot Warren having a blast with the crowd, to our students and families riding along, it was such a fun way to celebrate our community and share what Discovery Woods is all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, helped decorate, walked the route, handed out goodies, and supported us throughout the evening. We couldn’t have done it without you!
