Building Trades is getting back into the swing of school by practicing their hammer skills. Orientation to Technology, and Production Technology are milling up hard and soft maple for longboards and kitchen cabinets. STEM is drilling fretboards for inlay dots for their guitars, and CAD/CAM is running the CNC and creating designs for their entertainment centers. 2nd week of school is off and running!

The Reed-Custer Chatter was set up many years ago to be used in conjunction with one of our media classes at the High School. The Chatter's video portion is no longer available, but we want to continue sharing what is happening at RCHS.

We have had many inquiries and messages asking us to post events from RCMS and RCES. Although we are very proud to be part of such a wonderful school district with those great schools, this page was specifically set up for RCHS.

Former Comet, Luca Trucano, is doing big things in the trades! Keep up the hard work!



Meet Luca Trucano, a student in the Operating Engineer and Technician program at Joliet Junior College.
Luca was drawn to ExxonMobil by the opportunity to learn from experienced operators and gain hands-on industry experience. This summer, he's built his knowledge of refinery operations, process flows, and safety practices while growing his confidence in the field.
Outside of work and school, Luca enjoys weightlifting, fishing, and playing video games. He describes his internship experience as rewarding, with valuable knowledge being passed down from operators each day.
