Students in Ms. Tarr's class worked together to save Fred the gummy worm! 🪱💦
Working in groups, students had to create a plan using only four paperclips to rescue Fred and place his gummy Lifesaver around him, without touching Fred, the boat, or the life preserver.
With 5 minutes to plan and 8 minutes to rescue Fred, students put their teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills to the test! They finished by creating a flow chart to explain the steps their group took.
What a fun and challenging way to build collaboration and classroom community! 🙌

Brady ISD Library Newsletter 📚📖
LIBRARY ACCESS CODES
In keeping with SB13 guidelines for Texas school libraries, we want to make sure parents/guardians have the opportunity to view and have input on their child’s school library books.
Brady ISD campus library catalogs are available online. A feature of the library system is the ability for parents/guardians to access their child’s library accounts by utilizing an access code from Destiny Follett Library system. Parents can view their child’s account to see what books they have checked out.
If you are interested in setting up an account, go to the BISD webpage. Click on the Department tab and then click library. Scroll to the bottom of the page and there will be a tab called: Destiny Access Information. Click on the tab and the instructions on how to set up access to the Follett Destiny parent portal will be available.

📚 Brady Middle School ACE Program Registration is NOW OPEN for the 2026–2027 school year!

Brady Middle School students in 6th–8th grade are invited to participate in the Texas ACE (Afterschool Centers on Education) Program!

⭐ What does ACE offer?
• 📚 Homework assistance with certified teachers
• 🍎 FREE after-school snacks
• 🏃 Recreation and fitness activities
• 🔬 Science, technology, and arts enrichment
• 🎯 Activities and training to support student success
• 🎓 Guidance and field trips focused on college and career opportunities

🕕 Program Schedule:
Monday–Friday from the end of the school day until 6:00 PM

🚌 ACE Transportation:
• Monday–Thursday: 5:30 PM
• Friday: 4:00 PM

ACE is not offered on school holidays or early-release days. Daily attendance is encouraged but not mandatory.

📝 REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Students must complete an ACE registration form and receive an approval letter before attending the program.
