BBCHS went into secure mode this morning, September 8th, due to a student situation within our building. It was swiftly handled by our school administration, and we went into secure mode as a precaution for students during the passing period. There was no immediate threat to our students or staff, and our building is safe.

Temporary exits have been completed at the north wing east door, main gym, and courtyard. The east gym firewall has been constructed above the existing roof heights and is nearing completion. Demolition has begun in the atrium, and concrete piers have been poured for the maintenance addition.

While the work continues, our mission stays the same - bringing our school community together under one roof while creating modern, functional spaces that support student success.
