Are you a people person who loves books, community, and making connections? The Manteno Public Library is looking for two enthusiastic, tech-savvy individuals with excellent customer service skills to join us as Part-Time Circulation Clerks!

🌟Perks & Pay:
- Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour + Paid Time Off (PTO)

🕒 Year-Round Work Schedule:
- Position 1: Mon & Thu (2:15-7:15pm), Fri (1:15-6:15pm)
- Position 2: Mon & Wed (2:15-7:15pm), Thu (9:15am-2:15pm)
Both positions will have 1-2 Saturdays per month (9:15am - 3:15pm)

✅Requirements:
- Applicants must be 18 or older with a High School Diploma or GED
- Have a passion for delivering top-notch customer service to our patrons and team members
- Computer proficiency

Join us for a ✨F R E E✨ two-week Digital Basics workshop where you'll learn how to turn a simple Microsoft Word template into your very own newsletter!

Whether you're creating something for your family, a community organization, a hobby, or just for fun, this hands-on project will help you build practical computer skills you can use at home and in the workplace.

📝 Wednesday, October 14 | Plan & Prepare

Choose your newsletter topic, explore Microsoft Word templates, develop your content, and gather images for your project.

🎨 Wednesday, October 21 | Create & Present

Bring your newsletter to life! Practice formatting text, changing colors, inserting images, customizing templates, and saving your finished project. We'll wrap up by sharing our newsletters with the group!

✅ No previous Microsoft Word experience necessary!

✅ Computers will be provided!

✅ Can't make it to the first workshop? You're still welcome to join us for Week 2! We'll have materials available to help you get started.

Bring your newsletter to life! Practice working with templates, formatting text, adding images, and more before sharing your finished project with the group.

🧩 Wednesday, October 28 | Workplace Problem Solving
What would YOU do? Work through realistic workplace situations and practice communication, decision-making, adaptability, prioritization, and problem solving.

The Kankakee County Sheriff's Office is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the Medical Department at the Jerome Combs Detention Center!
