After Bill's passing BBCHS created a Bill Breeden Memorial Scholarship to support a senior, preferably one who has had accommodations (IEP or 504), who plans to continue their education after graduation and supports their community.

THANK YOU ❤️ Friday was a successful trivia night raising funds for the Bill Breeden Memorial Scholarship!!! The committee is still in awe of how much the night has grown (3x the size of years past), and the support from our BBCHS community and beyond. We are excited to continue to provide scholarship opportunities for deserving seniors!! 💸 Stay tuned for the 2025 recipient(s)! As always DBAD, and Be a Bill.🤘🏼

TRIVIA NIGHT 🧠 YEAR 3
Thank you to everyone who made last night a success! Shoutout to Mike Dorsam for putting together 9 rounds of challenging trivia (hey Seinfeld), & congratulations to White Lightening who defeated the defending champs, The Klim Shadys!!! 🤯 👑

We could not make the night such a success without the generosity from Beef 'O' Brady's Bourbonnais for hosting us, & the following vendors:

✨ Amanda Walker from Mill Cottage Bakehouse Home Bakery
✨ Andrew Carroll from APC Photography
✨ John Klimchuk from BB’s golf coaching staff

When we first started the committee we weren’t sure how long we’d be able to support BB seniors, & thanks to the outpouring of love & monetary support throughout the last 6 years we’ve been able to provide $10,250 in scholarships to 10 recipients!!! 💰 Wednesday night we will award our 2024, & 10th, recipient! 🎓

The committee is expanding & are excited to welcome Dave, Ben, Laura, & Alexa next school year!! We are looking to offer another fundraising opportunity in the Fall/Winter & will update with more information when the time gets closer. 😊 🎲

We are excited to host our 3rd annual trivia night!!! 🤔🤓 Do you think you & your crew can take down the reigning champs: the Klim Shadys?!! 👑 Even if trivia “isn’t your thing,” there are plenty of opportunities to ✨win✨ through raffles. Email Mike Dorsam at [email protected] with team info.

Proceeds from this event helps us fund the Bill Breeden Memorial Scholarship. 💰The scholarship is awarded to a BBCHS senior, preferably one who has an IEP or 504, who is involved in their community & plans to pursue a college degree. ❤️🎓

🎟️ If you are willing to donate to the raffles, please reach out to any of the committee members. We want to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone that made our 2nd annual trivia night a success! There were a lot of laughs, friendly competition, and quite a bit of head scratching. 😉 Congratulations to the Klim Shadys for taking the win — undefeated champs!

We’ve decided to allow this page to extend beyond the golf outing, and showcase all the events contributing to the Breeden Memorial Scholarship!

Due to BBCHS’s academic calendar, we will not have a Breeden Memorial Golf Outing this year, and are hopeful to be back better than ever in 2024! ⛳️

However, we have had great opportunities to raise money to support BBCHS seniors!
• Thank you to Freddie Dudek for organizing a bowling night in the winter. 🎳
• Later this month we’re hosting another trivia night at Beef O’Brady’s!! We managed to max out our teams in just a few short days! 🧠
•Finally, later this month we will be able to award a deserving senior with money! 💵

We will continue to keep you all updated as we continue to keep Bill’s legacy alive. 🤘🏽

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to support the Bill Breeden Memorial Scholarship!! We could not have asked for a better day, and groups of golfers and volunteers. ⛳️ ☀️
Shoutout to The Kankakee Elks for all of their assistance, and congrats to those that won the various games on the course and the raffle prizes! It’s because of you that we are able to support BBCHS seniors through the Scholarship as they continue their education!

We are excited to get more information to you!!

Our second annual outing is a 4-person scramble. You don't need to be good at golf by any means, you just need to enjoy a day on the course with friends. You can sign up with a foursome or individually.
If golf not your thing, we will gladly take volunteers! If you're not available on Friday, June 3rd, you can help by spreading the word to your golf people.

Entry forms and payments may be dropped off or mailed to BBCHS. Please address envelope to:
