I know not everyone wants to be in pictures or videos.
I get it. I hate being on camera too.
But I want our members to understand why it means so much to us when you allow us to capture a few seconds of what happens inside these walls.
To you, it might just be a quick video of you working out.
To us, it’s our story.
It shows the early mornings. The hard days. The first workouts. The comebacks. The friendships. The person who walked through our doors nervous and unsure, and months later is stronger and more confident.
It shows people on the outside what Shore Movements really is.
And as a small business, that matters.
We don’t have unlimited marketing budgets or a massive company behind us. We have our coaches, our members, our community, and the work we do every single day.
Social media helps us tell that story. It helps the next person who is scared to walk into a gym see someone just like them and think:
“Maybe I can do this too.”
And yes, you might watch the video and notice your hair, your stomach, your form, or something you wish looked different.
But everyone else?
They see someone showing up.
They see effort.
They see a real person working to become better.
Most people will forget almost everything they scrolled through that day.
But that one post might bring someone through our doors.
And that person walking through our doors helps keep a small local business alive. It helps us employ great coaches. It helps us keep building this community. And it allows me to keep doing something I’ve poured a huge part of my life into and truly love helping people.
So when you let us take the picture…
When you don’t hide from the 10-second video…
When you share or tag us…
Please know it means more to us than “content.”
You’re helping tell our story.
You’re helping someone else start theirs.
And you’re helping a small business continue doing what it loves. ❤️
