🌟Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Lori Ament as BACA’s new 3rd and 4th Grade Teacher!🌟
Mrs. Ament joins BACA as a PA certified elementary teacher with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education and a Masters in Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has worked the last 12 years for the Bradford Area School District - 2 years in School Street Elementary in Special Education, and 10 years in the Bradford Area High School in Special Education. She was also a former teacher from right here at BACA in 2013-2014, teaching 2nd and 3rd grade!
Mrs. Ament looks forward to helping her students to grow and thrive both academically and in their faith.

PRAISE THE LORD!

On July 1, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. a long time dream came true. The Bradford Area Christian Academy (BACA) now has it's own building, the former First United Methodist Church which occupies 3/4 of the Chambers Street block in downtown Bradford, PA, where we rented space for the past 25 years.

Shown below is Mandi Droney, BACA Board Secretary, and Jim Machuga, BACA Board President, signing the paperwork on behalf of the school to purchase the building.

We now have room for 140 students, ages pre-k through 12 with college options, to receive a Christian Education, and for the school to be a light unto this town for Christ. Last year qualifying families received 93% tuition assistance.

Many thanks to everyone who made this process a success. Many thanks to the First United Methodist church congregation for their many years of partnership generosity.

If you would like to partner with us, in prayer, volunteering, redirecting your tax dollars for Children's Scholarships (minimal or NO cost to you) or in some other way, please contact me. There has never been a better time to invest in the lives of God's children and this community.

Can't go wrong with a classic baking soda volcano!
Mrs. Henry's class celebrated the last week of school with an EXPLOSIVELY good time! They worked together to build the volcano, and had so much fun watching it erupt while learning about chemical reactions.

Congratulations Class of 2026! 🎉

Last Wednesday was our Graduation ceremony for our Preschool and 8th grade students! We are so proud of all of you, and are honored to have been part of your journey!

Best wishes and prayers for all of our students as they go forward next year into high school and Kindergarten.

Egg-citing things have been happening in Mrs. McDonald’s 5th/6th grade classroom! 🐥🥚

For the past 3 weeks, students have been part of an unforgettable egg hatching project. Along the way, they learned about the daily development of chick embryos and then experienced the wonder of watching the chicks hatch right before their eyes!

The excitement quickly spread through the whole school. Students from Pre-K all the way through high school visited the classroom to pet, hold, and meet our fluffy little guests. There were lots of smiles, gentle cuddles, and unforgettable moments along the way! 💛

After their time as our honorary classmates, all of the chicks will return to the farm they came from to live their very best chicken lives. 🐓🌾

What an incredible hands-on learning experience for our students!

Move over, Energizer Bunny — our 5th and 6th graders have discovered a NEW power source, and it’s been sitting in your kitchen pantry this whole time! 🙌

This week, students in Mrs. McDonald’s class became junior electrical engineers as they used POTATOES 🥔 as batteries to build simple circuits — powering real digital clocks and lighting up actual lightbulbs! 💡🕐

That’s right. Potatoes. Making. Electricity.

The looks on their faces when those clocks lit up? Absolutely PRICELESS. 😄✨

These young scientists learned that the chemical reaction between a potato and two different metals can generate enough voltage to power small devices — and they proved it with their own hands! 🔬🧠

We are so proud of the curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking on display in this classroom every single day.
