Valley Cooperative Preschool 4 STARS, Vermont State Prekindergarten Prequalified, non-profit program. VCPCC serves children ages We are a 5 STARS Prequalified Preschool Program.

We are run by a parent board. Ours is a mixed-age program meeting 3 mornings a week of your choosing, from 7:00am-12:00pm. We also offer afternoon care from 12:00pm-5:30pm.

We were so “egg”-cited to come in this morning to see our chicks were hatching. We have waited 21 days for these little chicks to make their appearance. The preschoolers hav been learning about the life cycle of a chick and counting down the days. We can’t wait to see how many more chicks we will have tomorrow. 🐣

TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY!
One of our families treated our preschool staff to yummy coffee today. Thank you!
We also celebrated our staff with some games and goodies.
And we can’t forget that today, Taco Tuesday falls on Cinco de Mayo! Our kids loved the tacos and rice. And thank you Ms Veronica for the homemade pupusas and Mexican street corn for the staff!

Work Together Wednesday
Preschool took a walk to gather eggs to incubate at the center. We were able to gather enough eggs to fill our incubator!
We are kicking off our life cycle of a chick unit and will learn about the different stages of development, make predictions, and with any luck get to see the chicks hatch in 21 days.
The infant/toddler group worked together to build towers and buildings with legos.
Great teamwork everyone!
