Bradford High FCCLA

Today we took a day off from school to celebrate all the hard work and dedication these students put into FCCLA and Star Events last year.

Last school year all of these girls (Maggie Blevins not pictured) qualified for National Star Events. Due to the pandemic, our trip to Washington DC was cancelled and they competed virtually in their competitions.

The virtual competition did not stop these girls, with each one of them placing in the top 15!!

I know this trip wasn’t as long and as exciting as Washington DC would have been, but I hope our time spent playing Arcade games, Bowling, eating at the Madden Crab, and Andy’s helped to make up for it!

I’m very proud of the hard work, determination, and resilience that these ladies have.

Please read the following

• Dues can be paid anytime! ($20)
• If you want to be entered into a drawing you will need to have the dues paid by October 26th!
• T-shirt money is due by the 30th (the first picture is the back & the second is the front) $13 small-XL & $15 2X and up
• STAR events will be an extra $5 if you would like to participate!
• STAR events are virtual up until nationals! Nationals are in Nashville, TN

FCCLA Membership is open!

If your student is wanting to join Bradford High FCCLA they need to fill out the form below! Dues will be $20.00 this year.

We will still be having community service projects, fundraisers, special events, and Star Events Competitions (All under proper Covid-19 regulations).

Your student does not have to be a face to face student to be a member.

Create a new survey on your own or with others at the same time. Choose from a variety of survey types and analyze results in Google Forms. Free from Google.

Officer Award Letters have been mailed!

If you applied for an office, be on the lookout for yours!

Keep in mind I need the paper copy of the Officer Commitment Form for you office read thoroughly and signed by both you and a parent/guardian.
I provided a preaddressed ready to go envelope for you to mail it back to the school - or you can drop off with your last AMI work on May 19th.

Pay attention to the date; as we have many hard deadlines in FCCLA, if you forget to turn this in by May 20th, you can loose your office!

As we are moving more towards using Google Classroom during this time, I would like to ask if you would please make sure that your child is enrolled in my Classrooms, and in the correct ones.

When I looked at my classrooms, I have about 95% of my students already enrolled; however, there is a few that either chose to never join, transferred into my class recently, or is new to our school.
