Workbench Wednesday 🐾

Mom’s workbench was deserted today. 😒

She went to spend the day with a very special grandson.

She did NOT take us.

Rude. Very rude. 🐾

When Mom came home, she told Dad that changing a six-month-old’s diaper is apparently an Olympic sport. 🏅

According to Mom, they roll, they squirm, they giggle, and generally do everything possible to make the event more challenging. 😂

So, kudos to Mom for competing in this newly discovered Olympic event!

We think she won…

Although, we feel like we should probably ask the baby. 😏

Meanwhile, the workbench remains untouched.

We’re sure it missed her.

We know we did. 🐾❤️

We are SO lucky to have the greatest neighbors! 🥰 They helped us put our brand-new bubble wands to the test—and let’s just say… they are officially approved! 🫧😂

Nothing like good neighbors willing to play with bubbles and help us test our latest creations! 💚🫧

🌻 MONDAY MOTIVATION FROM RUSTY BUCKET FARM 🌻

Motivation might be a little blah today… but apparently we didn’t get that memo this weekend. 😂

We were busy creating, hammering, shaping, and turning copper into some pretty fun things! 🔨🔥

So today, instead of forcing the Monday motivation, we’re taking a minute to look back at what we accomplished and letting that be enough to get us moving into a new week.

Sometimes the best motivation is simply seeing what you made happen. 🧡

🌹 Touch of Rusty Thursday! 🌹

Yesterday we asked: How did Rusty Bucket get started—and what was the very first thing I ever made?

🥁🥁🥁 A ROSE! 🌹

Yep… the very first Rusty Bucket creation was a copper rose, and that original rose now lives at my Mom’s gravestone. ❤️

And let me just say… WOW. 😂 Looking back at that first rose compared to what’s coming off the workbench now, there’s been a few hammer swings, some fire, a whole lot of stubbornness, and apparently… I’ve learned a thing or two!

But this is just the beginning of the story.

We’re amping up Rusty Bucket on TikTok and starting a fun little series about how Rusty Bucket began, why we’re called Rusty Bucket, the crazy twists along the way—and probably a few things I probably shouldn’t admit publicly. 😉😂

🐾 Pup Report from the Farm! 🐾

Mom has been fighting off a nasty headache today, so unfortunately there are NO tap-taps coming from the workbench. 😴🔨

We have officially put Mom on the couch, wrapped her up, and taken over nursing duty. We’re working very hard at keeping her company, making sure she rests, and accepting payment in the form of snacks. 🐾😉

Hopefully Mom is back to her tap-tapping self tomorrow! Paws crossed! 🐾❤️
