Fun in PE with Mr. Chris

Our students are kicking off the school year with high energy and big smiles in the gym! Mr. Chris has everyone moving, laughing, and learning teamwork through some incredible beginning-of-the-year games.

🚢 Ships & Sailors – Listening closely to captain's orders!

🦖 Yoshi – Quick reflexes and nonstop fun.

🏰 Castle Ball – Protecting the fortress together.

🏃‍♂️ Stuck in the Mud – Fast-paced teamwork to rescue frozen friends.

Alongside these awesome games, students are also practicing their focus and coordination as they begin learning the fundamentals of the underhand toss!

We love seeing our students stay active, build new skills, and support one another.

🩷✨ We’re going PINK for Dolly this Friday! ✨🩷

This Friday, August 28, we’ll be celebrating the life and legacy of Dolly Parton! 🎶💖 We’ll have Dolly music playing during morning drop-off AND afternoon dismissal—for both our bus and car riders!

Students and staff are encouraged to WEAR PINK FOR DOLLY! 🩷🤠✨

And of course, we’ll be celebrating one of her greatest legacies—Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and the millions of little readers she has inspired. 📚💕

We can’t wait to add a little extra sparkle to our Friday! ✨

We have had the most incredible start to the school year in the library! Our superstars have been busy diving into books and getting hands-on with some absolutely awesome projects.

Creativity + Math = Mrs. Alex's 5th Grade Volume Zoo! 🦁📦📐

Mrs. Alex's brilliant 5th graders recently put their geometry skills to the test with a hands-on, high-volume project!

To master the concept of composite volume, students measured and solved the volume of individual boxes. Then, they combined those three-dimensional shapes to engineer their very own "Volume Zoo" animals! The final challenge? Calculating the total volume of their entire creation. We love seeing Mrs. Alex's students bring math concepts to life in such creative ways.

The Tennessee Department of Health's School Based Dental Prevention Program is coming to our school to keep your child's smile healthy! 🩺✨Our dental guests have already met with our lower elementary classes and will be meeting with upper elementary classes in the middle of this week!
