Our health fair at Publix Pharmacy was an absolute success!! 💊Thank you to the students from both the pharmacy and medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine! Together we were able to provide blood pressure screenings and medication adherence education to the community! 🩺

Hello everyone! Are you looking to declutter those bookshelves, and donate any gently used books towards the local public Sarasota library? Then clean off those dusty books and let them find a new friend to read those amazing stories they have to tell. We are proud to announce that we will be hosting a virtual Curriculum Vitae (CV) workshop on Thursday, February 1st, from 6-7pm, so please come out and join us!

Dear LECOM P1 and P2 Students,

ACCP is pleased to announce the return of the Clinical Research Challenge (CRC). This novel competition is targeted towards pharmacy students in their first two years of their first professional pharmacy degree program (P1 and P2 students only!). Critically evaluating and applying primary literature is an essential skill for clinical pharmacists. Research and scholarship contributes to improved health outcomes for patients and advancements in the profession of clinical pharmacy. This innovative and unique competition offers teams of three pharmacy students to participate in an online journal club, and the opportunity to submit a letter of intent and a clinical research proposal.

The ACCP Clinical Research Challenge is a team-based competition. Teams of three students will compete against teams from other schools and colleges of pharmacy nationwide in an online format. The winning team will receive 3 Complimentary Full Student Annual Meeting Registrations, Request to Present their Research Design at Annual Meeting Poster Session, $1500 team cash prize ($500 each), and Individual Plaques and Team Trophy. The Local Journal Club Competition examination will be held on Wednesday, January 31st, at 5:00 PM (EST) via zoom, and the DEADLINE to sign-up is Monday, January 29th.

We are proud to announce that our collaboration efforts with FSHP for the Holiday Toy Drive was a huge success. We were able to donate 215 toys to the Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and help make a difference in a child's life this holiday season ❤️. We would also like to thank all those who donated, and participated in this event!

Hello everyone! ACCP is proud to announce that we have teamed up with LECOM's FSHP club in participating in the Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital Toy Drive. Please join us in making a difference and helping to impact a child's life for the holidays.

We have two wonderful options for donation:

Option #1: Toys can be donated via collection boxes that are located in the student lounge at the Bradenton campus. This option has until Tuesday, November 21st, to deliver any toy donations.

Option #2: (The DE friendly option) Students can scan the QR code on the flyer below and place an order through our online amazon wish list, and all orders are to be shipped to the (LECOM School of pharmacy C/O FSHP Dr. Higgins) address provided on the registry. Please be aware that all shipping donations must arrive **NO LATER THAN** MONDAY November 20th.
