Manatee History Day

This past Saturday, we celebrated and recognized the students who competed in this year's Manatee History Day competition. They have worked hard for the past few months, curating exhibit boards, documentaries, websites and papers to coincide with this year's theme, 'Revolution, Reaction, and Reform.' We have some important upcoming dates for students participating in Manatee History Day!
-This Saturday is Exhibit Board Judging. Please drop off your exhibit boards before 10:00 AM.
-February 23–28: Exhibit boards may be picked up anytime between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
-Saturday, February 28: Join us for the Awards Ceremony! We hope you and your family will celebrate your hard work and placement in this year’s Manatee History Day competition.

Judging for online submissions opens TODAY!!

Judges: You have until February 16th to review submissions and turn in your evaluations!

Judge training will be held at Manatee Village Historical Park tomorrow at 10 AM. All registered judges are required to either attend the in person training or complete the online training by January 25th. Online training materials are available upon request and must be requested by end of day today (January 23, 2026).

Manatee History Day is quickly approaching, and teacher registration closes later this week! Please remember that students cannot register until their teacher has completed their own registration.

The deadline is December 19th, so be sure to cross it off your to-do list and register now before it’s too late!
