Successful weekend hosting LECOM’s first Dental Health Patch Program for the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida!!! A special thank you to UF’s AAWD chapter for all their help and guidance in getting a program started at LECOM!

Next Saturday, April 14th, from 10:00-11:30 am, LECOM will be hosting our first DENTAL HEALTH PATCH PROGRAM Event with the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida!!! VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED! Volunteers are asked to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 to help set up and be informed on their activities for the event, scrub attire at LECOM SDM. Third year students on top of their competencies will receive half a clinic make up day for their service! Sign up here:

Join AAWD this week for PAINT NIGHT! This Thursday, 7 pm at Painting with a Twist, off State Rd 70, paint with us “A Walk in the Park- Pallet.” ALL students are welcome and will receive a LECOM discount when you call to book a spot. See you there!

Can you believe it is already March?! Last month some of our AAWD members were able to volunteer at our local Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 💕 it was truly an honor to award breast cancer survivors their post race metals

This weeks PINK PANCAKE PARTY in honor of breast cancer awareness was a total blast! Thanks to all who attended and we look forward to future meetings and getting to know everyone even better 💕

AAWD is rescheduling tomorrow's pancake bar meeting to next month! We are so thankful everyone is ok after Irma and good luck on upcoming exams! This years E-Board is headed to the AAWD annual meeting this weekend and can't wait to come back and make this club even bigger and better 💕
