Pace Center for Girls, Manatee

Our girls got an up-close look at what it takes to be a firefighter. 🔥🚒 They learned about fire safety, explored all the equipment carried on the fire trucks, and even had a chance to spray the hose!

Experiences like this not only build awareness but also inspire future possibilities for careers in public service. We are so grateful to City of Bradenton Fire Department for taking the time to pour into our girls and make learning both fun and impactful!

We'd like to share a heartfelt thank you to the Service Club of Manatee County for their generous support of Pace Manatee! We were thrilled to receive a grant of $3,880 for our Growth & Change program, which will also help fund incentives for goal achievement. Two of our board members, Shannon O'Brien and Sandy Levins, were there to celebrate the moment with us!

Let the Summer Color Challenge Begin! 🎉

The first week of summer has come to an end and our Pace girls are continuing to work hard on their academics all summer long! To keep the summer fun, we have some colorful treats in store.

We love a good door decorating opportunity, so the girls created their ideal picnic menu featuring foods, drinks, treats, and picnic items that match their assigned color. They will earn points throughout the summer for positive behavior, class participation, and completing assignments. The group with the most points will earn a Colorful Picnic Celebration!

Stay tuned for Colorful Fun Fridays, when the girls can dress in their team color and enjoy a visit from the Friday Fun Cart!

We had an incredible time at our recent State of Pace event!

It was so special to welcome our supporters for a first look at our new building and to walk through the progress together, sharing that moment with all of you meant so much.

Our basket auctions are more than just fun... They are how we lift up our girls and celebrate their wins. Pace is a year-round school, and we know that summer can be a challenging time to stay motivated. These auctions give our girls something to work toward and remind them that every small step counts on their path to graduation.

Throwing it back to one of our past graduating classes. ❤ We’re getting ready for another fabulous Pace Graduation ceremony this summer. Our girls work so incredibly hard for this moment, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next group of incredible young women to walk the stage!

We’re thrilled to share that Pace Manatee has received a generous $25,000 grant from Bradenton Kiwanis! This impactful gift will help sponsor a van for our growing Reach program, allowing us to bring critical mental health support directly to girls ages 11–17.

Our Reach therapist meets girls where they are, at school, in their communities, or even at home, ensuring they receive personalized care in the environments where they feel most comfortable and empowered. We are so excited to continue expanding this program and reaching even more girls who need us.
