In 2010 I began writing/publishing books written for children ages 4-8. All of these picture story books have scientific themes in their various stories.
Books 1-5 have been published in the first series called Laura and Grandpa—Discovering Science Together. Three Mom’s Choice Awards® and one FAPA (Florida Authors and Publishers Association) award has been presented to these books.

Another series, written for children ages 8-13, was published in 2014. Called Laura and Grandpa—Discovering Da Vinci, it covers topics in history, art, and science. Books 1 and 2 have been published. The last book in this series will be published in 2018. Book received a Mom’s Choice Award® and a Writer’s Digest Award*.

In 2015 the first bilingual (English/Spanish) picture story book about science written for children ages 4-8 was published. It is called The Rainbow—El Arco Iris and has received an FAPA award.
