As the year winds down, catching magical moments in passing with students sitting outside in the shade listening to A Land Remembered while others prepare kale chips and to reseed their favorite basil. This is the life of a Montessori child.

Congratulations to Addison Golm (far left) on receiving the West Point Society's Excellence in High School Award and Brooke Burkhart (second from right) on receiving the Anne Frank Humanitarian Award.

Congratulations to Ellie Miller on her acceptance into Florida State University and Austin Carr on his acceptance into University of Florida and on winning 2nd and 3rd place at his high school District Track Meet as he wraps up four years competing in Track and Field.

Congratulations to Jakob Zinkhan on being recognized as a Golden Herald Award Honorable Mention in the Speech Category.

Summer Camp for curious minds! Weekly themed summer camp at our Main Campus for ages 18 months through 3rd grade and our Lakewood Ranch Campus for ages 3 through 6. Experienced Montessori teachers and staff offer activities
in Montessori classrooms. The best of all worlds.

We have had a magical week celebrating World Book Day, Earth Day and our Band students! It kicked off with our Center Mentors program with mentors reading with their mentees. Everywhere you walked on campus, inside classrooms and through our outside environments, you found students engaged with each other and their books. We love this program as much as the students do. Ask your student about his/her Center Mentor friend.

Celebrating 50 Years Educating Children and 20 Years with Miss Rosa!

As we enter our 50th year we are also thanking Miss Rosa for 20 years working at Center Montessori School. Her toddler Nest Class is as busy and as independent as ever as they grow under her gentle guidance.

We love our grandparents and we love our classroom lessons moving outside! Will and Tom's grandfather volunteered with our middle school class to build a new bench and seating for outside study sessions. Starting with the unfinished wood, the students spent weeks working through the process. Make sure to scroll through to see the beautiful finished product, signed by the students.
