It’s a work anniversary! Ms. Kelsey is celebrating TWELVE years at Thompson Academy ❤️

The pictures don’t depict her entire journey here BUT the stories, memories, families, ideas, and improvements do 💕

She started out as an infant assistant teacher, became the lead one year old teacher, then director, and lastly owner and director. To have one single individual as an owner and director in the preschool/daycare industry is RARE, and a mountain to manage. Each of her three kids have grown up in this building and she’s truly poured her love and heart into this school.

Since she’s taken the helm our school has blossomed in many ways including career days, extra enrichment experiences, family events such as a fall festival, Halloween parade, art show, grandparents day and father daughter dance, the school has undergone many physical updates, made communication with parents and families more accessible, enhanced curriculum, and so much more while going through the tough seasons that accompany being a business owner.

She’s passionate about early education and making sure that every child that walks through our doors feels loved and accepted, how to best serve every family, encouraging teachers to become the best they can be, and everyone leaving here with a positive experience.

Thank you for all you do Ms. Kelsey to make Thompson Academy the best it can be! 🏫 🍎 ✏️
