Beginning August 2026, Manatee Learning Academy will launch our NEW Allied Medical Program for 10th-12th grade students!

Students in our STEM pathway will begin building their college and career resumes while gaining hands-on exposure to the medical field. This exciting program prepares students to perform both administrative and clinical medical assistant duties in a real-world healthcare setting.

📚 Students will learn:
✅ Electronic health records
✅ Patient scheduling & medical office procedures
✅ Taking vital signs
✅ Preparing patients for procedures
✅ Assisting physicians
✅ Laboratory procedures & EKGs
✅ Medical ethics, legal standards & patient safety
✅ Communication & professionalism in healthcare

🎓 Students who successfully complete the program may become eligible for internships and can prepare for a State Medical Assisting Certification Exam! Students who have not graduated or are not 18 as of completion will receive a temporary certificate upon completion of the Board exam that will convert to certification on graduation or age 18.
