Today at lunch, our students had the opportunity to explore the many clubs and organizations available at Bayshore High School! Students met club sponsors and members, learned more about ways to get involved, and even had the chance to win a Walmart gift card by visiting clubs and collecting stamps on their Club Fair Stamp Card. 📚🎨🏆

We are proud to offer so many opportunities for our students to find their interests, build connections, develop leadership skills, and get involved in the BHS community!

📢 Attention Bruin Families 📢
The safety of our students is our highest priority. We ask all parents and guardians to take a few moments to speak with their students about the importance of using designated crosswalks when arriving at and departing from school each day.

🚸 Please use designated crosswalks. These crossings are in place to help students safely navigate roadways. Crossing outside of marked crosswalks can create serious safety risks. To support student safety, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office will be increasing patrols during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal times.

⚠️ Reminder: E-Motos are NOT permitted on campus or as student transportation to and from school. Students observed riding E-Motos may be subject to law enforcement action, and citations may be issued.

Not only is Jashun a talented athlete, student, and performer, but he is also the kind of person who makes everyone around him better. His positive energy, confidence, and genuine joy are contagious and have a way of spreading to everyone he encounters. We are proud to have him represent Bayshore High School in so many ways. 💙💛

📸☀️ Senior Sunrise 2026 ☀️📸

What a great way to kick off the school year! Our seniors gathered bright and early on the first Friday of school to watch the sunrise together and make memories that will last a lifetime. 🌅💙

It has been an amazing first week back, and we are so excited for all that this school year has in store. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for helping make the first week such a success!

🏈 The excitement continues tonight! Be sure to come out and support our team at the football game as we take on the St. John Neumann Celtics in our Kickoff Classic. We can't wait to see our students, families, alumni, and community members in the stands as we cheer on our team together!

This weekend, Bayshore alum Ricky Gullett was inducted into the Florida Wrestling Hall of Fame. The Class of ’88 graduate was a two-time state champion and a three-time finalist! 🏆🤼‍♂️

Congratulations to our Bayshore HS BTV News crew for sweeping the News Show category Friday, April 17th at the Film Rush Manatee 2026 Video Awards! Our shows took 1st, 2nd and 3rd place out of 4 high schools entered! Pictured is Kaila B. our exceptionally talented editor and the first place show, our Winter Olympics edition! So proud of our Bayshore Cadets for an unforgettable experience at the JROTC National Raider Competition at Fort Knox, KY! 🇺🇸💪
From the sights to the challenges, this event truly was a once‑in‑a‑lifetime opportunity for our students.

Our Bayshore Raider Male and Female Teams competed in the highly competitive Challenge Division, facing some of the best Raider teams from across the U.S. and overseas—more than 150 teams in total!
While our male team didn’t place in the Top 3 this time, their performance is nothing short of impressive. As current Florida State Champions, they showed grit, determination, and perseverance against an incredibly stacked field. We are immensely proud of their effort and sportsmanship.

Our female team absolutely shined and made history for Bayshore JROTC! These outstanding young women earned:
🥇 1st Place – One Rope Bridge
🥉 3rd Place – Cross Country Rescue
🥉 3rd Place – Overall
For our first-ever appearance at a National meet, this is an extraordinary achievement—and with it, Bayshore JROTC is now a National Champion in the Female Division! 🏆🎉

This milestone will forever be remembered. Congratulations to our Raiders, instructors, and supporters—we are Bayshore proud! 💙💛
