Meet Coach Kevin Jordan

Coach Kevin Jordan is a native of Florence, South Carolina. He played college football at Mars Hill College in North Carolina, where he earned a degree in Physical Education. Following college, Coach Jordan began his coaching career at Myrtle Beach High School.

A longtime business owner, Coach Jordan has spent decades investing in young people through coaching, mentoring, and ministry. After returning from Myrtle Beach to his hometown, he began coaching at The King’s Academy, a Christian school in Florence, where he helped establish the school’s football program.

Coach Jordan and his wife, Donna, have been married for nearly 45 years. Together, they raised four sons and are blessed with four grandchildren. This is Coach Jordan’s third year at Bradenton Christian School.

For Coach Jordan, football has always been about more than wins and losses. His passion is using the game as a platform to encourage young men to grow in their faith, character, relationships, and understanding of who God created them to be.

Meet Coach Dayton Alday — Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Alday was born and raised in Bradenton, and has been involved in football since third grade. He played through his HS junior year and now considers coaching an opportunity to give others the experience he once had. Coach Alday reflects, “Truly, one of my deepest regrets is stepping away from football. Now I strive to make sure I keep others from making that mistake.”

This is Coach Alday’s third year coaching at BCS, where he serves as a Varsity Assistant Coach and Middle School Head Coach. BCS holds a special place in his heart, as it is where his coaching journey began. He says, “It’s where I started. It’s really all I know. I bleed navy and orange. I don’t think anybody could ever understand the love I have for this program.”

Coach Alday was part of an exciting 2025 football season with the Varsity program, as the Panthers finished one game short of a perfect 10–0 and made their first-ever football championship game appearance. Following a hard-fought loss in the MAC 2 title game, he enters the new season hungry, determined, and motivated to continue working alongside the coaching staff and players to build upon that success.

Coach Alday’s approach to leadership is summed up by one of his favorite quotes: “I won’t tell you the lyrics, I’ll sing you the song.” To him, this means he will not simply tell his players what to do—he will lead by example, demonstrate what is expected, and teach them through action.

His coaching philosophy extends well beyond the football field. Coach Alday holds his players accountable while teaching them not only how to compete and conduct themselves on the field, but also how to navigate life as they grow into young men and disciples of their Lord and Savior. His faith plays an important role in his approach to coaching, guided by Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Coach Alday believes God uses both the good and difficult moments in life to shape believers and help them grow.

Meet Coach Stephen White — BCS Defensive Coordinator

Coach Stephen White brings a unique combination of collegiate, professional, and coaching experience to Bradenton Christian School, where he serves as Defensive Coordinator. A multi-level football player and coach, Coach White played collegiately at Western Kentucky University, Middle Tennessee State University, Baker University, and Lindsey Wilson College before continuing his playing career professionally in The Spring League and Fan Controlled Football.

Following his playing career, Coach White transitioned into coaching, gaining experience with programs in Tennessee before continuing his coaching career in Florida. He spent the past two seasons at St. Augustine High School, working with the defensive backs and helping develop players on both the technical and tactical sides of the game.

Coach White’s coaching philosophy is built around preparation, discipline, physicality, communication, and accountability. His experience as a player at multiple collegiate programs and in professional football gives him a unique perspective on what it takes to compete at a high level, while his coaching experience allows him to translate that knowledge into effective player development.

At Bradenton Christian, Coach White is focused on building a physical, disciplined, and fundamentally sound defense while helping student-athletes grow as competitors, leaders, and young men. He believes the lessons learned through football—commitment, perseverance, teamwork, and accountability—extend well beyond the field.
