Job description

Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
Keep operatory, reception, and bathroom area clean at all times
Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
Take radiographs of patients in a professional manner according to what the dentist requires
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
Support dentist during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
Document/Chart all dental procedures performed during each patient visit according to dentist’s instructions and legal requirements

Qualifications:

Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred, but we are willing to train for the right candidate
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
The ability to speak English and Spanish is highly preferred

State Requirements

Florida: Dental Assistant certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
Or in the transition of completing school and looking for on-the-job training to complete according to Florida’s standards
Practice Requirements

Proficiency in dental software (EagleSoft) and dental technology is a plus
Adhere to uniform attire and basic personal hygiene standards per Company Policy
Advance Notice of any time off requests (at least 2 weeks)
OSHA/HIPAA compliant
