Woodland Fine Arts Academy is a ministry of Woodland Community Church in Bradenton, FL. The purpose of WFA is to provide high quality instruction in a Christian environment for the artist of any age. Our program is designed to meet the student where they are and help them explore their God given creative gifts and develop the skills and discipline it requires to reach their fullest potential at ev

ery level. Whether for use in performance, ministry or personal expression, our desire is to see each person grow in their talent and passion for the arts, and most importantly, glorify God in all we do.

✨ Meet 𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗸𝗼𝗿𝗶 𝗗𝗼𝗽𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹! 🎨

We’re excited to welcome Jahkori to the WFA Art Team this season!

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration, a Master of Arts in Art Education, and years of experience as both a professional artist and educator, Jahkori is passionate about helping students discover their creativity, strengthen their artistic skills, and create with confidence.

This season, Jahkori will be teaching:

🎨 Level 2: Build It Up Art (3rd–6th Grades)
Students strengthen their artistic skills through drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media while exploring perspective, color, texture, and the elements of design.

📖 Storybook Art & Illustration (3rd–5th Grades & 6th-12th Grades)
Artists learn to bring stories to life through illustration while exploring character design, composition, and visual storytelling.

🖌️ Level 3: Create with Confidence Art (4th–12th Grades)
Developing artists refine their techniques through a variety of mediums while growing in creativity, artistic expression, and confidence.

We can’t wait for our students to learn from Jahkori’s creativity, experience, and love for the arts this year!
