๐โ๏ธ What an Amazing Week at Future Engineers Academy- Parrish Location! โ๏ธ๐
This week, our Future Engineers spent five incredible days designing, building, testing, problem-solving, and thinking like real engineers!
Throughout the week, campers explored a variety of engineering fields, including:
๐ค Robotics Engineering
๐จ๏ธ 3D Printing & CAD Design
โ๏ธ Simple Machines
๐ Rube Goldberg Machines
๐ Transportation Engineering
๐ค Marine Engineering
๐ Sustainable & Off-the-Grid Design
๐ฌ๏ธ Renewable Energy Engineering
๐ Future Community Design
Some of our favorite projects included:
โจ Designing original 3D prints in Tinkercad
๐ค Building and testing robotic hands
โ๏ธ Exploring the six simple machines through hands-on engineering labs
๐ Creating Rube Goldberg chain reaction machines
๐ Designing and racing balloon-powered cars
๐ค Engineering boats that raced across the water
๐ Building futuristic off-the-grid homes
๐ฌ๏ธ Designing and testing wind turbines
๐ Creating self-sustaining communities using recycled materials
Along the way, students learned one of the most important lessons in engineering:
Great engineers don't always get it right the first time. They test, improve, and try again.
We were so impressed by the creativity, teamwork, perseverance, and problem-solving skills our engineers demonstrated throughout the week. Watching students turn ideas into working prototypes and tackle challenges with enthusiasm was truly inspiring.
โค๏ธ A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing families for trusting us with your children this week. Thank you for supporting their creativity, encouraging their curiosity, sending in materials, cheering on their projects, and making STEAM Kids such a special community.
We also want to thank our incredible teachers and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make every challenge, activity, and engineering adventure possible.
We hope your engineers had as much fun as we did!
๐ธ Feel free to share your favorite camp photos in the comments!
๐ Until next time, keep building, keep creating, and keep engineering the future!
