Dignitaries from over 60 countries joined today’s United Nations Day Festival at Oneness-Family Montessori School. Our students inspired us with their heartfelt performances and international projects. The day was a profound and moving demonstration of unity and harmony at a time when our world is so stressed with conflict and tragedy.

Here’s an excerpt from my opening remarks: “For me peace is not an abstraction; it’s a tangible reality. A feeling in our heart. It’s a force. Peace is our recognition of the humanness in each other. It’s how we treat each other on a day to day basis. Peace is built on tiny acts of kindness and courage, which in turn inspire other acts of kindness and courage. Peace is forged by making our dreams blossom into reality, even in small ways…”

Dear Facebook Family: I am super excited about the upcoming release of my new music album SHINE ON. With over 20 musicians & artists contributing their amazing talents, it is the largest collaborative effort I’ve ever undertaken. I’ll be celebrating with an album release party on the evening of Friday, November 24. We chose Thanksgiving weekend so that album contributors who are college students will be able to attend. The evening will feature a listening party of the full album, delicious international food, and a few special surprises. All guests can take home their choice of a physical CD or a vinyl album as a memento. For ticket information please send me a FB message or an email.
