All this intense flooding in Susquehanna County, Pa...
Could it be from all the intense gas development industrialization of our county the past ten years.

Over 500 gas pads, over 50 gas compressor stations,
hundreds of miles of new, high-pressure gas pipelines...

Could this change our landscape, amount of trees, run-off....?

Pa. Health Dept. now has a health Registry for Oil and Gas Health Concerns and Issues online:

I just found out about this: Hardly anyone knows about it and it needs more publicity....

We can file our concerns online or call them:

Then, click on the Oil and Natural Gas Production Health Concerns link.

Then, if you click on ONGP Health Registry, it will move you to the bottom of the page where there is information about our registry and our monthly reports. Right now, the May 2018 monthly report is up.

I visited a friend in Dimock, Pa., in my county and poured out her methane-infused water
from her tap ,
which has been like this since gas drilling happened next to her home in 2008.

and the water from her private, water well has not returned to what it was in 2008.

With the methane comes other contaminants...like heavy metals, radioactivity, etc...

the water in the glass as I watch it out gasses the methane and takes a couple of minutes to become clear
as the methane escapes into the air.

She uses it for household use and gets water elsewhere for drinking and cooking.

When she showers, she feels unwell, being exposed to this methane in the water.

Our DEP has determined that her water was impacted by gas drilling as well as dozens of others in her town ...

So sorry I have been depressed and upset since the election. I am still trying to figure out what meaning TMP has in this political climate. We need impeachment but then we get 'THIS VERY DAMAGING 'VP. I READ as far as women's right to choose- he believes that women are just the "host"....oh well. I feel that this is even worse then the catholic religion I was raised in....
I hope to regroup-my self and TMP and try to move forward....I am trying my best and can use any suggestions that all of the members might have as far as political and social actions and program we can sponsor and organize..
