A huge congratulations to Brynn Ryan, Will Gray, and the other recipients of the Bronze Pencil Award. Along with graduating today, Brynn and Will have been an incredible part of our team as graphic designers.

The Richard Helzer Bronze Pencil Award is selected by the faculty of the School of Art in recognition of an outstanding senior at Montana State University for their creative talent and artistic ability.

This recognition is well deserved for both Will and Brynn, who have created countless graphics supporting entrepreneurial activity across campus. We are so grateful for everything they have contributed and will truly miss our graduates.

It is that time of year again, we are thrilled to host the 7th annual $100K Venture Competition!!

If you’re a student, faculty member, researcher, postdoc, or 2024–2025 alum from MSU or UM campuses and you’re building a venture, this is your chance to compete and win big. Ventures must be founder-led and cannot have received venture capital or angel funding.

Compete in one of three tracks: Social Impact, Deep Tech/University Research, or Traditional Venture.
