Hi Yogis! Big announcement:

Starting next week I will be hosting regular LIVE Zoom classes once a day! While I love the freedom of filming and providing recorded classes, I think the live stream scheduled classes really offer a way of connecting with the yoga community and creating a space where we can hold each other accountable to being present and committed like we were in in-person classes at a studio. Speaking from my own personal experience, when I sign up for a Zoom yoga class I'm more likely to spend a full hour yoga-ing and not getting distracted by my phone, people or pets I'm quarentining with, work calls, other responsibilities, etc. Maybe that's just me, but these live classes are powerful and I want to get more involved! It's been really nice to feel like I'm still directly teaching others through this platform and super cool that I've had yogis from different times and places in my life show up to class :)

So, how it will work is: You can sign up by directly emailing me to [email protected] or through my website at https://www.margaretelliottyoga.com/new-page . I will email you 15 minutes before class starts with the class video link and a spotify playlist you can play on your device if you want music. All of my classes will be donation-based or pay-what-you-can, I understand lots of us have compromised work situations at this point in time. Donations will start at $10/class and you can send them to my venmo -Elliott178 or my FB Fundraiser page.

M/W/F 12PM MST, T/Th 5:30PM MST

This is a difficult time for everyone right now dealing with fear and the unknown with how we will face COVID-19 cases popping up in our communities. As someone who has been building a career in teaching yoga for the past few years, I'm not sure what my work and income situation will be for the next few months and that's scary! What's even scarier is the thought that myself and other yoga teachers in Bozeman might not be able to provide our students with the yoga classes they have come to love and rely on as movement therapy. Social isolation may be necessary to keep some members of our community safe, but I don't want us to lose our cherished practices of managing stress and connecting with others.

I'd love to offer my experience teaching power, vinyasa, beginner and restorative yoga classes to people who cannot come to the yoga studios that are still open as of now! I'm available for skype or facetime yoga classes in a pay-what-you-can format. I'm also thinking of posting videos on here of maybe 30-60 minute yoga flows with the option of donating.
