Kim Brock Memorial Scholarship for Women in Chem
Kim Brock was a beloved mother who worked as a chemist for over twenty years, charting new territory and inspiring those around her.
Kim broke out of the norm as a young woman when she decided to pursue a career in STEM. While times have changed, women remain underrepresented in STEM fields, with many classrooms, clubs, and workplaces remaining male-skewed and discouraging women from entering.
This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Kim Brock by supporting women who are following in her footsteps and making their mark in science.
Any female two or four-year undergraduate student who is majoring in chemistry may apply for this scholarship opportunity. Applicants should be passionate about moving the needle in the chemistry field. Applicants who are facing some kind of obstacle, such as financial need or being a single mother, are preferred.

Teria Onwuaduegbo Black Women in STEM Scholarship
Teria studied mathematics at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis. Many young women share Teria’s passion for STEM and follow in her footsteps by enrolling in STEM-based academic programs. Unfortunately, women are a minority in STEM-focused classrooms, extracurriculars, and professions. Black women, at the intersection of both racial and gender-based discrimination, are particularly underrepresented.
This scholarship aims to honor the memory of Teria Onwuaduegbo by encouraging women to follow in her footsteps and tackle their dreams regardless of the obstacles in front of them.
Any Black female undergraduate student who is pursuing computer science, mathematics, or engineering may apply for this scholarship opportunity.

Are you a K-12 educator working in formal, informal, afterschool, or out-of-school time settings?
There’s still time to take our survey on how educators are using, or not using, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning.
Your input will help:
Show what AI use really looks like in K–12 and out-of-school settings
Identify challenges and needs educators are facing
Inform future tools and resources for educators nationwide
This survey is part of Building AI Literacy for Inclusion in STEM, a new national initiative developed by the National Girls Collaborative Project with partners Ingenia Learning and STEM Next Opportunity Fund, with support from the AMD Foundation.
Whether AI is part of your work or not at all, your perspective matters.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey, and feel free to share it with colleagues who may want to participate.
