Computer Based Data Acquisition Tools and Software for Chemistry Education

MicroLab was founded by a group of university professors whose intent was to create equipment to minimize time spent on laboratory preparation, provide software with a “research instrument” feel, and give students an experience that mirrors working in a “real” chemistry lab. Our FS-528 Interface has a built-in 16 wavelength spectrophotometer capable of measuring absorbance, fluorescence and scatte

We had a great day teaching a faculty workshop at Colin College’s beautiful McKinney campus, just outside of Dallas. Between new functionalities and software upgrades, it’s always fun to show faculty just how much they can do with their MicroLAB!

It also doesn’t hurt to escape the snow for a couple of days.

Scientists Have Recorded Footage Of Atoms Bonding For The First Time 01/28/2020

This is pretty incredible. Advances in technology are allowing us to do and see things we never thought possible, and it's exciting to think what the future might hold.

How are you utilizing technology to teach the next generation of scientists?

Scientists Have Recorded Footage Of Atoms Bonding For The First Time Atoms are commonly known as the building blocks of the world. Yet the possibility of being able to film atomic bonding seemed almost impossible. At lengths

We had the opportunity to share our MicroLab equipment with a bunch of super bright and inquisitive middle school kids this summer at the Montana Learning Center summer camp. It was so much fun learning and exploring with these future scientists!

Who did the crime? We’re here to find out! Thank you to MontanaPBS, Microlab, Inc & Flathead Valley Community College for supporting our all-girls STEAM camp this week!
