MBC’s repertory is rich and diverse including timeless classical ballets, as well as original contemporary and modern works. Ms.

The Company and early school were founded by the late Ann Bates, who served as Artistic Director until 1997. Bates believed that, “Nowhere else in the rural west is there a small dance company with our big company goals.” The Montana Ballet has achieved many of these “big goals” in its vibrant history presenting seasons showcasing both original productions and international guest companies. 🎓 Congratulations to our graduating seniors! 🎓

Today, we celebrate three remarkable young women who have shared their talent, dedication, artistry, and heart with the Montana Ballet Company family.
✨ Bree Johnson, graduating from Bozeman High School, will attend Brigham Young University.
✨ Norah Blake, graduating from Belgrade High School, will attend Carroll College.
✨ Inga-Nissa Lee-Eichenwald, graduating from Gallatin High School, will attend UC Irvine.

Over the years, these dancers have brought so much to our studios, rehearsals,
performances, and community.

They have inspired younger dancers, supported their peers, and helped shape the spirit of MBC through their hard work, kindness, and love of dance.

While we will miss seeing them in the studio and on stage, we couldn’t be more proud of all they have accomplished and all that lies ahead. Wherever their next chapter takes them, they will always be part of the MBC family.
Please join us in congratulating Bree, Norah and Inga-Nissa on this exciting milestone. We wish you every success, happiness, and adventure in the years ahead.

Once an MBC dancer, always an MBC dancer.

In the Community…
all stages have curtains.

Sometimes it’s a classroom.
Sometimes it’s a senior living community.
Sometimes it’s a delivery route with groceries in hand.
Sometimes it’s a park.

Through Discover Dance, school visits, community partnerships, and outreach performances, we bring dance to those who might not otherwise experience it.
Because the arts don’t just belong in theaters, they belong everywhere.

This Give Big, you’re helping us show up for our community in all the ways that matter.

We welcome every dancer:
adult beginners, aspiring professionals, and members of our Adaptive Dance program, each one finding their place.

Because dance meets you where you are… and takes you somewhere new.
