A huge standing ovation to Ms. Fein, Ms. Bannasch, and the Monforton Theater Club for an amazing spring performance!

If you missed their performance of "Dare to Dream", check out the live stream. https://www.youtube.com/live/7481c3Kn-4w

Monforton has been blessed in many ways this school year and some of these blessings were on display at the performance. Thanks to private donations to the Monforton School Foundation, we have been able to make significantly upgrade our Choir/Band/Theater performance equipment. This included the new black backdrops, the rear projection screen, many of the performance lights, the light stands and cross bars, upgrades to the sound mixing equipment, and the video streaming system used to record and broadcast the entire performance.

There is more to come for next year. Stay tuned for additional announcements as we put donation money to work for our Monforton students and community.

Hi Amazing Paws Volunteers!

The art program is hosting an Art Museum to showcase all of the amazing elementary artists next Thursday evening! As for prep and set up, our amazing staff has offered to help, but I am really in need of some volunteers on the night of the event to help with potential crowd control and making sure visitors don't go into classrooms, etc. I know it is late in the school year, and everyone is a bit volunteer-tapped-out, but I'm hoping there might be some parents willing to help out.

The times I am needing assistance is during the event, May 28th 4:45-6 and 6-7:15ish.
If you are available for the entire time of the event (5-7) that is also great, I just tried to break it up.

And take down May 29th during the school day any time.
This person would just help carefully take down the artwork in the hall and return it to the classrooms.

If you can help, please sign up below. Thank you so much, I appreciate all you do!!!

The Where Angels Play Playground Project (https://monfortonschoolfoundation.org/where-angels-play/) is moving ahead at full steam. When kids come back in the Fall, there will be two brand-new playgrounds down at the elementary school…. with SLIDES πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›.

The Wildcat community really stepped up and helped us quickly reach our $55,000 fundraising goal to cover demolition and site prep. Thank you to everyone to make this possible!

We still have ways for the community to get involved, and we have a need for usage of some key pieces of equipment during the installation week:
- Two scissor lifts (August 3–5)
- Two 12-15 seat passenger vans for transporting volunteer crew (Aug 3 - 10)
- Bonus: One construction forklift with telescoping boom (Aug 3 - 5 approx)

If you have access to any of these pieces of equipment β€” or a connection that could help us borrow or rent them at a discount β€” please reach out to project coordinator Andrew Rowse at [email protected]. Stay tuned for more ways to help as we get closer to our August 8th ribbon cutting!

We are thrilled to announce that we have reached our $55,000 fundraising goal! Over 85 generous donors contributed $27,500 in funds through the recent Gallatin Valley Give Big fundraising drive and follow-up donations, successfully unlocking the full 1:1 match from an anonymous donor.

The project is moving forward at an incredible pace with the ribbon cutting scheduled for Saturday, August 8th. We expect that 70+ volunteers from Where Angel’s Play will be coming to Bozeman to help complete this project.

Additionally, the Smith’s and Where Angels Play continue to work on the playground design. Attached is a preview of the latest rendering – this version has even more SLIDES!!! πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›πŸ›

For more information on this amazing project, see our project page at https://monfortonschoolfoundation.org/where-angels-play/. If you are interested in contributing in any way, contact Andrew Rowse at [email protected].
