MSU American West series begins Oct. 2 with lecture by author Claire Vaye Watkins The award-winning novelist, short story writer and faculty member at the University of Michigan will read selections from her fiction that reflect the inspiration she draws from her Western roots and will discuss regionalism and the West in her work.
