The Very Hungry Caterpillar book study with felt

Acting out that first Easter morning.

We made Resurrection Rolls last week as we led up to Easter.

So much cool symbolism.
The marshmallow represents Jesus wrapped in his burial clothes.
The butter poured on represents the oil his friends poured on him
The cinnamon and sugar represent the spices applied.
The dough wrapped around and sealed represents the tomb-sealed shut.
As it cooks, the marshmallow melts and leaves an empty tomb!

Hmmm.... a man in a tree. Can you tell which Bible lesson was studied today?
