Programs in Alpine, Nordic, Freestyle, Freeride, Freeskiing and Snowboarding. Plus, grooming over 80km of winter trails. Bridger Ski Foundation (BSF) is a nonprofit community ski club based in Bozeman, Montana. We have educational and competitive programs for all ages, year round, in Nordic, Alpine, Snowboarding, Freeskiing and Freestyle. We also groom an incredible network of community Nordic ski

trails in Bozeman. We focus on inspiring a lifelong love of skiing, athletic excellence, and personal growth. Our programs and trails are open to everyone, and we strive to keep skiing affordable through fundraising, scholarships, financial aid, and equipment assistance. In 2015, BSF became a Gold Certified Club, the highest recognition given by U.S. Ski & Snowboard (formerly USSA).

The Bridger Ski Foundation Club Team: where skiers grow. Registration is open! Basically, this is your kids' entry to ski club life with BSF. It's for intermediate skiers, ages 7-11, who are ready for their next step in skiing at Bridger Bowl. They'll work with our amazing coaches to learn all-mountain skills, as well as skills that ready them for racing, the terrain park, moguls, air, and even big mountain skiing. From the Club Team, your little rippers can progress onto any of BSF's Alpine, Freestyle, Freeskiing, or Freeride teams.
Are they ready? They should be able to 1) Follow directions in a group for several hours at a time. 2) Ski parallel (no snowplowing/wedges) and with poles 3) Ski intermediate terrain (lower half of mountain at Bridger) 4) Be able to carry and put on their own ski equipment. 5) Be able to load the chair lift independently.
(Not quite ready? Spend a little more time with Snowsports School first.)
In addition to weekend sessions, we added a Wednesday afternoon option last year that was popular. Learn more at https://www.bridgerskifoundation.org/clubteam

Adults can have fun, too! Registration is open for BSF's Nordic Adult Training Group - for both fall dryland and winter sessions. Our adult ski programs are a great way to move with purpose, build skills and share the journey with others in our community.
From fall dryland training options (choose from bootcamp, functional strength, intervals or rollerski sessions) to winter on-snow sessions, we have options for every ability and schedule. Stay engaged, stay connected, and keep building the strength and friendships that make our seasons together so rewarding. This crew is awesome at meeting the needs of lots of speeds and levels: try them out! Coach Heidi and Coach Becky are the best!
Register for 1 or 2 days a week - and drop in on whatever sessions work best for you.

Confession: we've only raised trail pass prices twice in the last 16 years. We're overdue. BUT now until September 15, you can get your voluntary BSF Trail Pass at the old-school price. Your pass supports: 80+ km of groomed trails (ski and multi-use) at seven locations, free community access (no one gets turned away at a trailhead), the equipment and maintenance for an impressive grooming operation, snowmaking at Sunset Hills, and BSF's nonprofit mission to keep skiing accessible. These trails make an incredible impact on so many lives during our winters; we'd love your support. "Voluntary passes" aren't really a thing in most places, but it's how we do it here and we think it's pretty great. Spread the word. https://www.bridgerskifoundation.org/trails/passes

A huge thank you to our community who showed up in droves last night for BSF‘s grand opening block party. This building is a huge step in the next direction for us, but you all are still the most valuable part of BSF. While the doors are open, fundraising is still going on. We received some remarkable gifts in the last few weeks, and we have less than $30,000 to raise to finish this building campaign, debt, free! If you can help out, let’s do it!

We're loading up the BSF Sprinter van for a mobile skate progression camp to wrap up the final weekend of summer. Registration just opened! Keep the stoke alive skating the best parks around--in Livingston and Bozeman. A full day of skateboarding, games, and progression! Pack a lunch and water. Kids will have the opportunity for one-on-one coaching focused on progression, and the chance to ride two great local skate parks!

We're opening our doors to the community on August 26 with a block party and grand opening! We'll have a bounce house, dunk tank, burgers, ice cream, and more! New to BSF? This is also a great chance to also come chat with our coaches, figure out which ski program is a good fit for your kid(s), and meet the community that we call family.

We've been taking a deep dive into the archives as we work on a Legacy Wall in the new BSF HQ. This photo is one of our favorites and comes from Cliff Montagne. It's May or June 1970 at the Northern Division Nordic Spring Training Camp, which was held at Bridger Bowl! Pictured are three MSU skiers: Steve Salusso (Divide MT), Rob Hamilton (Butte MT), Steve Settle (Canyon Creek, MT). Location is South Bowl/Pierre’s K**b area. Both Steve’s are from family ranches. And Rob - well, Rob ended up being a BSF legend, serving as president of the BSF Board of Directors for 25 years, and putting in many more years organizing the BSF Ski Swap and volunteering at Alpine races, and cheering us on on as we started the HQ project.

Registration is open for BSF's fall & winter programs! This is earlier than past years, so families can stretch payment plans over a longer period of time (and so BSF hire enough coaches before the season begins.) New? We're here to answer all your questions and find the right program for your kids. Two important dates for you:
AUGUST 26: BSF Block Party - this is the perfect time to come meet our coaching staff, ask questions, and learn more about BSF.
SEPTEMBER 15: Scholarship applications are due.
