“Imagine If . . .,” are words that invite us to think creatively and collaboratively about our shared future. These words are also the theme for the North American Association for Environmental Education - NAAEE 2026 Conference in Portland, Oregon.

During the conference, is teaming up with Project Learning Tree (PLT) and Project WET to present a hands-on session focused on three-dimensional science standards as a critical approach for integrating environmental education (EE) in school settings. In this session, From Nature into the Classroom: Aligning EE with Today’s Science Classrooms, my colleagues from PLT and Project WET and I will help participants explore how EE naturally supports student learning across the three dimensions. Representatives from , Project WET and Project Learning Tree will be presenting “Connect School District Leaders with Your EE Programs" on October 7th from 4:00-5:30, where we’ll discuss developing relationships with districts and highlight the Superintendents’ EE Collaborative (SEEC).
