8" of heavy, wet snow knocked out power to our whole town yesterday morning, and took countless freshly-budded branches with it. No matter - these optimistic young ladies collected the snapped green boughs and are on their way to "replant." (Sticking them upright in the snow...) here's to the lighthearted belief in green growing things which we all had as kids.
