The Robert and Gennie DeWeese Gallery presents:
Everything Becomes Something
September 1st to October 9th.
Works by: Tyler Joseph Krasowski
Tyler Joseph Krasowski is a virtuosic and accomplished draughtsman whose preferred tools are pencil and paper. Everything Becomes Something reflects his excitement and delight with the immediacy of drawing, featuring a variety of approaches and subjects. For Krasowski, drawings and sketches are valued artworks unto themselves, as he believes “the energy of the original cannot be replicated.” His work references idyllic and pastoral landscape traditions and the dense, detailed images of Old Master printmakers such as Dürer. Krasowski often subverts expectations by including small hidden details that upend the viewer’s initial reading of the scene.
This exhibition will be open September 1st to October 9th. Our gallery hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday. You can access the DeWeese Gallery from the main entrance to Bozeman High School on 205 N. 11th Avenue. If you are a member of the public, please sign in at the main office.
