I made a beautiful gravlax yesterday with dill from our garden and fennel from our neighbors garden. I love our new home and incredible neighbors!!! I will be slicing this bad boy up in three days ;)

Happy 84th birthday to our dear friend Jay Bentley. I was honored to make my New Orleans bbq shrimp for this culinary legend! Carey made an amazing Basque cheesecake which always steels the show. He and his wife Mary blessed us with his perfect gumbo. Life is great with effortless friendships.
