Wow! We are so grateful for parent, Hannah Scott. She held a high school girl’s volleyball camp asking for diaper & wipe donations for our center! My car was packed front to back! We are overwhelmed by the success and generosity from the community! This bridges a huge gap for us! Thank you Hannah!

This Sunday September 15th we will be downtown at 10:30-12pm with the block party happening in the Dokken-Nelson Parking lot outside of our school.
Come on down and meet our director Misti and ask questions! There will be coffee and pastries, sno-cones from Tropical Sno and a bounce house for the children!

No parking in the parking lot... please park on Olive Street, Babcock or in the annex building parking lot behind XY learning center on the opposite corner. Please do not use parking lots marked for First Baptist/Peace of Christ or Grand Avenue Christian as they have worship services that morning too.

Now Hiring at The Gathering Place: A Children’s Learning Center for All.

While we are owned and operated by Bozeman United Methodist Church, we are a non-religious, non-profit organization that aims to provide a safe and welcoming environment for families and children. We are an early learning center serving children 6 weeks to 6 years (not yet entering Kindergarten). We are a play-based program with elements of Montessori, sprinkled in with some Reggio and Project Approach. While we provide childcare, we also partner with community resources and allies to give our families whatever it is they need to be successful. We firmly believe that families are our children's first teacher and we strive to honor that and support them in that responsibility however and whenever possible. As a center, our teaching philosophy is progressive. We believe that we are constantly learning through our experiences. In our program, children are given the autonomy to choose activities based on their current interests. These interests direct our curriculum and how it is implemented amongst age groups. We believe that children learn best through play in a safe and nurturing environment designed to enrich the whole child, including social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development. We are a STARS and CACFP Provider. We accept Best Beginnings scholarships and work with Thrive & Child Care Connections to ensure that a child is not denied access to care and education.
