We are hosting a Job Fair on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 10am to 12pm where qualifying candidates will be invited to visit our school, meet our leadership team, and participate in speed interviews. The Lead VPK Teacher is responsible for preparing our four and five-year-olds for Kindergarten and beyond using the Creative Curriculum. To fulfill this position, the candidate must meet the following qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
1. 18 years or older
2. High School Diploma
3. Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check
4. At least one year of LEAD teaching experience
5. FL 45-Hour DCF Training
6. First Aid/CPR Certification
7. Willing to obtain a CDA Credential and VPK Endorsement within one year of employment
8. Ability to keep up with young children by standing, walking, running, bending, pulling, pushing, lifting, and carrying at least 30 pounds

We are more than willing to train the right person to meet our standards but some proven experience and a genuine desire to work with young children is imperative.

Candidates must be available to work between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

We encourage ALL parents to apply for the Summer Camp Scholarship, whether you're apart of the TKLC Family or not. Be proactive in planning your child's Summer Camp experience to prevent "summer slide". TKLC is accepting Summer Camp applications until May 28th. Act NOW to secure your child's spot!
