An incredible day of sparring with our friends from TAC. From the first handshake to the final round, every match was an opportunity to learn, challenge ourselves, and become better teammates and competitors.

Thank you to Master Catalan, Master Rae, all of the coaches, the parents, and every athlete who stepped on the mat today. We appreciate the opportunity to train together.

Iron sharpens iron.

After two hours of sparring practice today, our students could have gone home.

Instead, they spent the afternoon helping my grandpa move equipment out of his barn.

No complaints. No phones. Just teamwork, hard work, and a willingness to help.

A special thank you to Roman, one of our Black Belt students home from college in Alabama. Without hesitation, he jumped right in and helped lead the group, setting the example for our younger students. Watching our alumni come home and continue to lead is something I’m incredibly proud of. Once a leader at Raise Leaders, always a leader.

Moments like these remind me that martial arts is about so much more than kicks and punches. It’s about building young people with the character to serve others, work hard, and step up when they’re needed.

Huge congratulations to Kemal on qualifying for Nationals! 🇺🇸🥇

This weekend was a statement of hard work, heart, and determination. Kemal stepped up under pressure, earned his spot on the national stage, and showed what discipline looks like in action.

From the intensity of sparring to breaking 14 boards and bringing home gold, he proved that preparation and belief pay off.
